Life is an amazing gift from God.  Wouldn’t you want more time and opportunity to achieve your life-long dreams, to see your children grow up, to share special moments with your loved ones ?  Well do just that in good health.


  • Age Gracefully

Sagging skin, wrinkles, age spots, memory loss, aching joints – just a few telltale signs that you are getting older.  While you cannot stop the passage of time, you can reduce the impact of time on your mind and body by making healthy lifestyle choices.


  • Lower the risk of illness and diseases

Heart disease and stroke were the leading cause of death in 2011, followed by cancer and diabetes.  Do not become a statistic. Make healthier choices and play an active role in improving your healthy and quality of life.


  • Maintain a healthy body weight

According to Wikipedia obesity is “a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health, leading to reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems… In the United States obesity is estimated to cause 111,909 to 365,000 deaths per year, while 1 million (7.7%) of deaths in Europe are attributed to excess weight.”  The best solution is eating healthy and exercising.

Going through the day lethargic and cranky - whether due to obesity, illness or lack of sleep is not ideal.  Don’t just rely on coffee and energy drinks to keep you going.  Make healthier choices, improve your diet and include exercise in your lifestyle and ‘live while you are alive’.

Why I Had To Change My Life

They say health is wealth – little did I know how true this was.  

I have found out first hand, just how much stress can wreak havoc on your health.   A few years ago I went through a very stressful time in my life.  Among other health issues, I lost my hair and I gained weight.

I got tired of doctor visits and of prescription drugs.  The medical bills started climbing and I had maxed out my annual health insurance benefits.

It seemed I was stuck in a cruel cycle. 

  • Stress caused me to gain weight and the weight gain caused me to be stressed. 

  • Stress caused me to be paying medical bills and the medical expenses caused me to be stressed

I had to do something to get out of this crazy cycle and that’s when I figured out that practicing those 5 healthy living solutions was the only way for me to do it.  I also knew that in order to remain consistent and make it a part of my everyday life these healthy living solutions had to be simple and realistic.

Maybe you might have other healthy living solutions in mind and may choose to incorporate them in your everyday life - Go right ahead!  The healthy lifestyle tips I mentioned above are not only simple and effective but are also the ones that worked for me.
